Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for be supporting the HR Manager to assure the effectiveness accomplish of the certification and training plan for all the functions. To maintain and ensure effective internal communication process and guarantee positive workforce climate, through the compliance of the internal labor rules, process and policies, supporting the manufacturing plant objectives. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to daily responsibilities requiring expertise in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance and Talent Management, and Coaching.

Some Activities Related With The Position Will Be
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton Philosophy and Values
Lead the certification program by production workers
Conduct the training needs assessment at the site on annual basis
Comply with all the legal requirements related Training
Promote the organizational culture of the company
Ensure the compliance of Internal Labor Rules and the Collective Union Agreement
Contribute to perform a Zero Incidents Culture, through the active participation in Safety Gemba walk and promote the safety culture from his/her area.
Lead the implementation, administration and communication of: Training, Performance Evaluation and Development Plans.
Develop and utilize project management skills to execute assigned projects and lead projects teams where necessary.
Implementation and ongoing support of manufacturing processes deployed on production machinery that includes supporting the continuous improvement process when opportunities are identified to improve operation of equipment.
Improve current machine tools to increase uptime, improve quality, and increase productivity.
Supports the creation and administration of CI Programs.
Manage capital and expense related training.
Support recruitment activities by salary positions
Coordinate various Plant Engagement, Recognition and Wellness Programs and Events to motivate the employees to maintain the levels of satisfaction, productivity and quality desired.
Partner with management to ensure positive employee relations.
Provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.
Other activities related the area.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution.
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Presentation and facilitation knowledge with skills in teaching, training, and developing employees.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement.
SAP business system experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial / Labor Relations or Psychology
Master’s degree
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Human Resources
Foundational knowledge of lean principles and manufacturing processes.
